Touring rapper, producer, WATKK label head
Lt Headtrip Embarks on European Tour August, 2026
New Album Pre-orders - Patch Transmissions
Lt Headtrip has a flow that looms out of the shadows and cuts a fine balance between monstrous and entertaining. His storytelling prowess, his sharp sense of humour and his no-bullshit sociopolitical commentary all combine together into one potent mixture that dares you to take a swig. In short, Headtrip cannot be ignored.
And so it is once more on Patch Transmissions, the WATKK label head’s latest album, which follows in the wake of Hostile Engineering, his 2025 LP with the irrepressible steel tipped dove (Fused Arrow). For this latest venture, Trip reunites with long-term collaborator, producer Rich Courage (Impervious Machine, 2014, Pressure of the Tempest, 2020). From the off, it is clear that the duo are still in perfect harmony, as the album’s opener tears through the speakers. Life Cycles contains an air of brooding menace, thanks in part to Courage’s production, which stomps through the backdrop of Headtrip’s dominating vocals, peppered with eerie stabs of distorted instrumentation. Trip himself is in full dissent mode, proclaiming, “I’ll oppose until I turn into dust,” thus continuing the radical streak of anti-authoritarian fire that has fueled his music from the start.
Throughout Patch Transmissions, Lt Headtrip and Rich Courage’s creative cohesion never comes unstuck, with both artists propelling the listener forward. The album, teeming with effects-soaked guitar licks, dynamic drums, oozing basslines, and a cacophony of sounds from Courage’s self-assembled modular synthesiser, boasts guest vocals from the masterful SKECH185 (Tomorrow Kings, Backwoodz Studioz), Duncecap (Fused Arrow, Backwoodz Studioz), Teddy Faley (WATKK), BIG BREAKFAST and Shelby Star. As you careen through the vaguely dystopian soundscapes they conjure up and hurtle towards the album’s finale - a Blockhead remix of Life Cycles that brings us full circle - your only choice is to press play again to make sure everything you thought you experienced, did in fact happen.

Fused Arrow Records brings together the politicized art-rap of Lt Headtrip with label founder steel tipped dove’s stripped-down psychedelic production.” The Best Hip Hop on Bandcamp Sept 2025
“The gristle, outpoured thoughts, observations, protestations and glue between the oppressive urban structures of our dysfunctional, unworkable society both poetically and rhythmically twist and flow over a counterculture haunted psychedelic-prog, Krautrock and jazz-soul production on this debut project collaboration.” - Monolith Cocktail
Headtrip’s rapping ability is incredibly refined at this point in his career, and Bloodmoney is an incredible talent on full display here.
If you’re into alternative Hip Hop—anything that doesn’t sound basic and predictable—you do not want to miss this record.
